Schema Markup Adoption Across the Top 1,000 SaaS Sites (2026 Benchmark)
I crawled the homepages, pricing pages, and top blog post of 1,000 SaaS sites. Here's what schema they ship, what they miss, and where the easy wins are.

What I personally did
- Designed the research question and the sampling method.
- Collected and graded the data personally — no outsourced or scraped third-party dataset.
- Wrote every word of the published piece and maintain it after publication.
How the numbers were measured
- Homepages and primary pillar pages crawled, JSON-LD parsed programmatically, and schema types counted per site.
- Validation errors recorded separately from absence of markup — a broken block is not the same as no block.

What this record does not prove
A point-in-time crawl. Sites ship schema changes constantly, so adoption rates drift.
