Let’s Dance! USF, Saint Mary’s clinch NCAA Tournament spots
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — March Madness is on!
The University of San Francisco and Saint Mary’s College males’s basketball groups have formally clinched their spot within the NCAA Tournament — with the announcement on CBS’s Selection Sunday present.

The Dons are dancing!
For the primary time since 1998, the USF males are going to the NCAA Tournament.
Expecting their title to be referred to as, the Dons held a watch social gathering inside War Memorial Gym — anxiously ready for his or her names to be referred to as.
The wait is over because the Dons (24-9) can be a 10-seed and face Murray State within the East Region.
KRON4’s Kylen Mills was inside War Memorial Gym when the Dons heard their named introduced.
Saint Mary’s College
Like USF, the workforce roughly 25 miles away in Moraga can be headed to the massive dance.
Saint Mary’s can be a 5-seed within the East Region and face both Wyoming or Indiana (who will play one another for a shot on the Gaels).
The Gaels makes their first NCAA Tournament since 2019 — their fifth look within the final 10 years.
They completed the common season 25-7 and second place within the West Coast Conference to the event’s primary general seed Gonzaga.
The Chase Center in San Francisco will host the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight video games of the West Region.
