Florida trainer leaves classroom on stretcher after 5-year-old assaults: report

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A South Florida trainer was carried out of her classroom on a stretcher after being attacked by a 5-year-old scholar at her faculty, WPLG reported.
The incident occurred at Pines Lakes Elementary in Pembroke Pines shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday, based on an affidavit obtained by the information station.
Police stated two college students, ages 4 and 5, have been being disruptive in school, flipping chairs and throwing issues at academics.
After they have been taken to a “cool down” room, the 5-year-old began attacking the trainer along with his fists and toes, police stated.
The trainer radioed for assist, and police have been referred to as to the varsity.
Officers discovered the trainer sitting on the bottom towards a wall. She appeared “faint” and “dazed” and began coughing and dry heaving, the report stated.
The trainer was carried out of the varsity on a stretcher and brought to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, based on WPLG.
Pembroke Pines Police spokeswoman Amanda Conwell confirmed to Nexstar that the trainer has since returned dwelling.
Conwell added that officers had not arrested or filed fees towards the 5-year-old as of Monday afternoon, and the investigation was ongoing.
