So it’s St. Patrick’s Day season, and Caitríona Balfe needs you to know that it’s not St. Patty’s Day, and Irish natives would flip their noses up at a plate of corned beef and cabbage.  

That’s what she advised Jimmy Kimmel throughout an look on his speak present final week. 

“First of all,  folks typically name it St. Patty’s Day. And I’d like to only say, it isn’t,” Caitríona, the Co Monaghan star of “Belfast” and the Starz sequence “Outlander,” stated. “It’s Paddy’s with a D or two Ds.”

“Why? It’s Patrick, it isn’t Padrig,” Kimmel stated perplexed, including jokingly, “By the best way, with the best way you spell Caitríona, you should not be telling anyone!”

“We simply love additional vowels in Ireland,” Caitríona stated with a smile.

“Nobody eats corned beef and cabbage in Ireland?!” Kimmel stated, shocked.

“I do not even know what that’s,” Caitríona admitted. “It sounds horrible!”

Outlander’s sixth season premiered on Sunday evening and Caitríona spoke about what it was prefer to movie the present throughout a pandemic whereas pregnant.
